The OS (OpenStructures) project explores the possibility of a modular construction model where everyone designs for everyone on the basis of one shared geometrical grid. It initiates a kind of collaborative Meccano to which everybody can contribute parts, components and structures.

1. Common modular Guidelines

   will enable people to design components within one shared dimensional framework.

2. A Component Database

   will enable people to upload, rate and trade their components with those of others.

3. An OpenStructures database

   will enable people to review and discuss all the resulting component combinations.
